wats going on here? are they all pods that produce flowers? wat strain of poppy is it? opium?

Okay, first of all, the FLOWERS produce the PODS, not the other way around. Secondly, only one flower would produce this bundle of pods, each of the little pods is part of the bigger one. Thirdly, the opium poppy isn't a strain; it's a species (Papaver somniferum) and there are several strains of it. This strain is the Hens & Chicks variety, and yes it is somniferum (opium).
