After you have participated for a while in the community, your account will be automatically upgraded from "podling" to "somniphile" status by the forum software.
No, we won't tell you how long it takes to get upgraded or how many posts you need. If you actively participate, it shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks before all restrictions are lifted.
